Think we are the better side if you ignore our defence. We should be comfortably beating them at home.

Early goal, keep the ball, second before half time, kill the game early second half

Easy.

I think Moyes gonna go with "the safe option." He is probably having a hard time thinking about his midfield. Loosing Gueye and with Garner and Nørgaard out - he has no experience for the two more defensive midfielders. That's why I think he goes into the game with these eleven:

Pickford - O´Brien, Keane, Tarkowski, Mykolenko - Hackney, KDH - Ndiaye, Alcaraz, Johnson - Barry

Keane might switch for Branthwaite but I think Moyes is afraid of his old injury and let him just play the last 30 min instead of the first 60.

We know how important it is for Moyes that the back four has played together a lot and I really dont think he dares to use Rohl as a right back.

Moyes would have preferred not to start Hackney straight away (as he has to adapt to PL football) but has no choice as all experienced options is out injured. The more I think about this, the more I think this hurts Moyes. He definitely is talking to the board about getting one more defensive midfielder.

Ndiaye and Barry is for sure playing but if KDH get a more defensive role - its gonna be interesting to see who he chooses at RW and AM. I think he goes for Johnson because of his experience and Alcaraz because he knows what he gets - but maybe he will choose Rohl in one of those positions...

I will be massively surprised if Moyes plays Armstrong and Hackney together with KDH higher up the pitch and if he chooses Rohl as right back.

It's gonna be interesting to see what he chooses. However Everton should actually win this one and Moyes has no excuses for not doing that.

I get what you're saying and it would certainly be very unmoyes like for him to start with some of the players we want him to.

Absolutely disagree that he'd start Keane over Branthwaite though, just don't see any reason why he's so that.
