Any word on the option value? I imagine it won’t be a lot if it’s Rangers. I’d much prefer him to go somewhere and come back though

Rangers would make sense with Thelwell being there but I'd have hoped he'd have gone to a higher level. They'll have European football (maybe not much) but a season abroad or in the Championship might have been a bit more of a benefit.

He is costing us 15 million need to get a decent loan for him see can he stay fit and push on

Even if he's a success up there we won't even get half our money back.
Doubt they'll be covering much of his wages either.

Yeah hopefully it’s more a case of a shop window. If he does well there someone else can cough up. Think he’ll do well good luck to him
