Lorik Cana - Lucky escape that one. He ended up at Sunderland and was absolute shite.
Joan Roman Riquelme - Linked to us seemingly forever
Fabrizio Ravanelli - Remember him coming and agreeing terms and everything, then decided that he wanted us to cover his tax bill as well and it all fell through.

The tax bill was Muller the Brazilian forward.
Ravanelli was more a case of Howard Kendall holding talks with him while Johnson had little intention of paying him 50 grand a week in about 1992.

Muller seems like a lucky escape. Think he went on to do next to nothing
