Any signings should really be Thelwell signings, in line with a long term strategy of player recruitment.

It does feel like a massive weight lifted. Cautious optimism and all that but I cant stop the smile today.
New owners and a stadium that honestly took my breath away when I saw it a few months ago. We are facing in the right the direction. Now just light the dam fuse baby!

I would be shocked if TFG have not been planning for this over the last 3-6 months. They should have decided what to do with the DoF, they should have run various scenarios for Dyche, probably with number one being don't rock the boat and let him see out his contract while keeping us up. They should have identified and put out feelers for possible replacements. They should have contingencies in place if results go tits up and we're bottom by the end of January. If they haven't done this (and much more) in the months they've known they are buying us then, we should be more worried than optimistic.

100%, although ill be so disappointing in both Thelwell and TFG if its Ricky, as are some of the rumours atm

I've no objection to "steady state" and waiting until the summer to start player trading. In that case, Dyche just finishes out his contract and we have someone ready to take over straight away.

But I don't think it's wise to bring in players in the January window, not knowing who 2025-26's manager will be. And obviously, Dyche needs to have zero input on any signings. If you start the player churn, then you need to know what the long-term plan is.

Same argument probably goes for the dof too though.

Think we will be a lot better off if we can make these decisions in the summer.

Be a absolute laughing stock if we made a bad appointment and got ourselves relegated when we are on the brink of a good future

Really happy to see this go through finally.

It still comes with some question marks as clearly the new owners have made mistakes at Roma (hopefully they've learned from those) but the biggest thing about this is the solidity it brings to our financial situation.

Due to our shaky finances the club has felt on the brink of implosion for years. Any significant change in revenue (like getting relegated) seemed like it could be a catalyst for a potential death spiral with the debt the club was saddled with.

While it's not time to relax about such things with another tight season at the bottom, there is a sense of relief that the structure of the club is now such that we could survive some setbacks and bounce back.

More to the point though, hopefully we finally get to bring some stability to the club on and off the field and start looking up the league again. Not to mention a fantastic new stadium to look forward to also.

I do think Dyche has had patches here were he has rightly deserved to he sacked. Also patches that should be full of praise.

If he can keep us plodding until the summer id be happy although frustrated with him staying.

Rather let the owners get all the foundations laid in the background before we start changing whats going on the pitch. That shoild be the summer, or at least the majority in the summer.

The future remains unknown, but we have one. Without the sale we would eventually run out of luck and go into administration

Dyche's only realistic target is to keep us up. I'm content he'll do that for the third time and so I am fine with him staying to the end of the season. Let's save all the big changes until the summer.
