It’s down to winning the last two and hoping Chelsea and Brentford lose games preferably by a few goals at a time.
Really ever since the derby it’s not been good enough.

Brentford and Brighton dont have the easiest run in. We just need to do what we can and hopefully go into the last game with it in our hands.
Hopefully Spurs will be safe and we can just beat them.

How about if we don't get in to Europe we just take the two cup competitions we enter every year seriously.

It won't be in our hands, will need 6pts and need favours .

Really messed it up after the 3-0 Chelsea sitting comfortable in 8th and even in the mix for even CL ,
3pts from 15 is devastating.

Is anyone genuinely surprised we have dropped the ball and bottled it?
If you were putting a bet on whether we could kick on and take the opportunity that has been presented to us or fuck it up the odds on us doing the latter would have been a lot higher than the former.

I don't think it will happen, but I do think if we won our last two games there's still a decent chance we finish 8th.
I can't see Chelsea beating Spurs at home and Sunderland away the way they are playing, and with a cup final to focus on.
And I think it's unlikely Brentford beat both Palace and Liverpool.
As I say it's unlikely overall, but it's not crazily unlikely.

Agreed ,
Chelsea always beat Spurs though. But yeah mathematically still possible. Annoyingly though I can see those two teams dropping points , but we won't win both either ....

I just don't see us beating Sunderland and Spurs
Feel like if there's anything on that last game for Spurs then they'll win and if the pressure is off then they'll probably relax and win. We're just not reliable enough defensively at the moment for me to have any faith in us.

I actually think the Chelsea game gave us a false sense of how good we are tbh. I don't think we fully appreciated just how shite and in turmoil they were at that stage, and in hindsight the win against them wasn't as impressive as we thought it was.

Yeah I'm expecting a shite 0-0 v Sunderland and then a comfortable win for Spurs on the final day regardless of their circumstances.

13 minutes of added time in this Spurs match. what a hoax of a league.
I really hope we get a chance to relegate them. how much fucking fun would that be!

.
I have fucked up the goal difference. Brighton have 10 and Brentford have 3.
Finding it quite difficult to view us with an optimistic lens but if (and I can't say I think we will) we beat Sunderland then at least we'll take it to the final day.
Bournemouth: Could actually feasibly get nothing from those fixtures but Forest playing for nothing on the last day with the likes of Murillo and MGW injured. I'd be surprised if they didn't get something there and a point means we can't catch them.
Brighton: Two tough fixtures on paper but they're playing two teams there with nothing to play for.
Brentford: Two teams with nothing to play for. Liverpool Away would normally be tough but you'd think Brentford would fancy it.
Chelsea: If they beat City in the cup then they take away that 8th spot anyway. Much better goal difference. Could win both those last two matches.
If we did win both matches (doubt) then if results go in our favour then we would have a chance on goal difference against those teams.
