To be fair we aren't the only team erratic as fuck, we are still in touch so still worth dreaming about higher up the league.

At least Moyes’ reaction worked. Farke did a number on him first half and we were well off it. The change in shape let us get up the pitch and Ndiaye and Dibbling stretched them. Probably a fair result. We’re a couple of players from being a comfortable top half team but it’s not far off.

Tbh I reckon I’d be throwing on Alcaraz over Beto for the last 5-10 in games like this. Beto hustles and bustles, but at least Alcaraz can play and link with other fellas in Blue.

100% sure now Dibbling is not a winger
This will sound nuts to a lot of you but I really think he is a striker not a 9 but with playing 2 up top , he finds that half a yard of space real easy

I know Gana will start every game but I think he’s been awful for us before and after AFCoN
Shame as Rohl was superb v Villa and didn’t even get on today

Garner or Gana, not both, and Garner is the better player at the moment.
Especially if we have 3 CBs, bring on Rohl for Gana, bring on Aznou for Myko.
Ive moaned about this for years, cannot stand Gana and Myko trying to be creative when we're chasing a game.

Gueye was one of our best attacking players second half. He's not an issue going forward.

Gana was the main reason we got a point in that second half. He was popping up everywhere.

Myko really is terrible but it’s mad how much of our play seems forced to go through him - he seems to get more touches than any other player
That is a great point. How is it possible for us to deliberately make our weakest player so involved in the game. Grealish should never have played in front of him and Ndiaye shouldnt either as that makes Mykolenko much more part of the game.

Ref was shit again, every fucking week. That trip on Barry I think on the edge of the area, he's looking right at it.

Wouldn't say he was one of our best attacking players at all, its not his game.

In that specific game though, he definitely was.
Hit the bar, got an assist, was dragging their midfield all over the place second half.

And if we'd have had an extra attacker on instead of two defensive minded midfielders and 3 centre backs we might have actually won against the relegation battlers.
I get he had moments, but hes just "doing a job" whenever he goes forward. Chasing a win at home id fully expect the favourotes to win to take one of the two DMs off.

It’s a good thing we’ve had a number of good away wins. The fact we’ve played Brentford, Wolves or Leeds in the last 3 home games and couldn’t win any of those is quite shocking.
At the same time it’s incredible how tight positions 7 to 13 are. I thought not long ago Fulham and Brentford were struggling while Bournemouth and Brighton were doing alright.

The change moyes made to go 352 worked there.
Gave us width and got people closer to Barry.
KDH and branthwaite both brilliant.
Another missed opportunity though. Too many points dropped at home already I fear.
