I'm speculating again but if Chelsea is interested (aren't they interested in every player that has a breath?), it might mean a deal for Broja coming the other way perhaps?

Does a deal before 30th June make sense though? We signed the PSR guy so as long as Dobbin completes the other way we have no reason to sell anyone else before then.
Might have made sense when the talks were first taking place, but I'd imagine now we don't have any pressing finance worries before the PSR deadline.

Belt and braces incase the PL decide they don't like how we've reported/categorised something?

People are forgetting how much unbelievably good work DCL puts in, he’s worth a lot more to us than goals

We can't afford to lose him for free though. We have to take whatever we can get this summer.

Oh yeah I get it, but we all seem to be palming him off too readily, me included

He’s in charge of accepting a contract
So you’d rather he leave for free? Ok then

Believe me, in a perfect world, we'd keep him through his testimonial. But real like can't always follow FM20. One year left, the last real chance to sell, only position where we have decent depth, etc.
Beats replacing Onana with fatass Kalvin on loan, and hoping he decides to give a fuck. Or losing our Player of the Year (in my book, anyway).
Onana is going to be a big, big money sale one day. But I don't see that monster bid this summer. Have to stay patient.

Irrelevant whether it happens before 30th June or before end of transfer window, unless he signs an extension he’s gone.

I am sad about it tbh, that these can just take our best players. Shite outfit.
But it is what it is, and it would be very positive for PSR...it's just a huge miss. I'm a massive fan, while I must still acknowledge he does not have the goal record I thought he could (not that any one could have a particularly good record at Everton as the side is and has been completely shite for a very long time).

We’ll be fine.
It’s time for him to move on.
It shouldn’t be that hard to replace him. Last three years have been really poor from him. It’s the odd run of games here and there outside of being injured or off form.
I’d be made go to get £20m for him. Would be amazing business.

Yes. That is exactly what I said. The most correct interpretation of the words I posted.

Yeah I really didn't want to open this thread.
I know we need a finisher, of few chances, but there's a considerable amount more to his game than that. If he's replaceable then I'd like to see some names. What we might gain in finishing, we'd lose significantly in other areas based on our current playing style.
