Was it Doucoure he should have passed to? Anyone else think he hesitated because it was Doucoure?
I think it was more there were 2-3 players all attacking the same space and instead of being focused on one player he ended up not really picking anyone in particular and just passed it in to the general area instead.

Yeah, their movement didn't help, beto and and myko ended up almost holding hands and doucs slowed a bit and didn't really commit to his run.

Doesn't excuse it, but I don't think any of the options in front of him were great, he just chose an even worse one.

Time to see him in the middle of the pitch I think, in the 8/10, carry the ball make things happen.

He's keen, time to see what he's got.

From his time here so far.

Uses the ball a lot better than anyone else we have in the team.

I do think it’s a no brainier to sign him up for the money quoted.

We still need value for money even he doesn't improve at the price he's a decent addition

Going to be hard pressed to find a better player for £12m.

A no brainer deal for me. Even if he just plays okay for 2 years we will easily make our money back.

I do think it’s a no brainier to have him accept and fulfil the contract as quoted.

Still be happy to sign him.

Liked the look of him during his time at Southampton.

Got scope to improve and as has been said, even if it was only marginal improvement we would still make our money back.

Might blow hot and cold but reckon he offers well more than the likes of Harrison and Doucourè

If we won't sign him then it just is what is. I think he's decent but if Moyes doesn't fancy him then there's no point spending money on him.

No brainer really. At 12 mil for what he brings it's definitely a no brainer. You'd had to have no brain to not sign him.

No brainer to take a look at him now without worrying about being inadvertently tied into a purchase imo.

Moyes will be back to them in the summer to say aye looks ok, give you eight for him.
