In good news the price seems to be about £40m-£45m now since he's only got 2 years left on his contract.
However, he also apparently wants 200k p/w....
Given some of the prices of late that seems pretty cheap, but maybe that’s in part because of wages.
Hard to say where he ends up but I don’t think it’s here… maybe Spurs? Atletico mentioned too, that might be more likely.

Mainoo isn't a 6, not what we need... Can't just be buying players because they're good regardless of it they'd work for what we need.

Boro saying they won’t sell Hackney because there is no time to find a replacement couldn’t we send Armstrong on loan there to replace him for the season would be a good place for him to go

Also reports saying he’s told them he wants to go if a PL team comes in for him

But that’s exactly what Brighton and Chelsea do. I know we’re not in the same position as them and brighton pay less than that on average so it’s not the same. But if someone young and quality is available…

If Mainoo was hypothetically a realistic option, IMO he's a level of player that we should be doing everything in our power to sign. He's a very special young player.
Never going to happen though unfortunately.

I wouldn't mind us trying for Geertruida for the right back spot. Not starting for Leipzig so far this season.
Can also fill in at cb.
Oh well scratch this one aswell, sounds like the team who do not have any players (Forest) have made contact with RB Leipzig. How many players do they need?? Fast becoming Chelsea number 2.

Let's build off the good feeling of an easy win by bringing in three players in the next few days - RB, DM and a fox in the box type striker.

Moyes said post match he needs defenders and it points to me that Jared is definitely more injured than we thought

I didn't read it that way. I think he's talking about numbers.
He was saying that he could rotate midfielders and forwards for a League Cup game, but we don't have the numbers in defence to rotate much at all.

Weird phrasing in this translation, but we need a rumour

Apparently he’s not very good according to Benfica fans
