Iβve not written Barry off yet but him playing shite is highlighted by the only other option being Beto. Whereas Dibling has been ok but we have Ndiaye and Grealish so it doesnβt matter.
Why has skin colour come into this?

Barry has played many more minutes than Dibling, 227 vs 65 PL mins so far. Think it's simple as that why people are starting to form more opinions about Barry as we've seen him more. Think it's still very early days though and if he gets a goal, I'm sure a lot of the pressure and grumbling will melt away.
Dibling just has been fairly tidy without doing anything so there just isn't much to say there. Also strikers are always going to be judged more due to the role they play in the team and it becomes more binary about whether they're scoring. The way we play as a team, as we see with Beto, they don't always get many touches so what they do do becomes amplified.
Genuinely wouldn't look past that sort of stuff as yet.

From MOTD: Enzo Maresca is the only player in PL history never to have picked a player over 30 years old.
What would our team look like with no players over 30 in it?

I thought this as soon as I posted it. I think him and his missus have had a kid since being at Everton so no way are they old enough to be playing in goal now!
I was just glad I asked if they were related, rather than βIs this his lad?β which is actually what I was thinking!
Ignore me, Iβd just woken up!
