Looking forward to the highlights, had me worried when I saw the halftime score but now feeling warm and suitably satisfied. Happy days.

I don't think it proves anything re: the strength of the Prem. Quite the opposite. Crazy that the 17th team in the Prem finished 4th in the group stages of the CL having won the Europa League, and Newcastle, a lower mid-table Prem team also shouldn't be anywhere near qualifying for the latter stages of the CL. Barca absolutely should be battering them.
The elite teams of Europe should absolutely be hammering teams like Newcastle, Spurs, even Chelsea in their current iteration. City's elimination was totally on Pep.
I'm thrilled that those teams are getting smashed and dumped out, because it would be even worse if they were getting to the end of the competition, but it's still alarming for European football that clubs like Spurs and Newcastle can be competitive at this level.

I don’t think Aaron ramsdale is anywhere near a premier league level goalkeeper.
His career at the top level is over.
There's something about the way he dives that looks all wrong. It's like doesn't actually go quick enough and by the time he's moved far enough the ball has passed him already.
Like a 2 stage diving technique or something, really doesn't look right to me.

Think we all knew how that game was going to go. Hopefully PSG do their thing next round.
