I don’t see Ivanovic.

I’m going to say we put together a loan-to-buy for Maitland-Niles and Brownhill on a free.

I think we need a different type or midfielder, this is just a guess based on how hard other types of deals would be to put together this late in the window.

Really talked myself into Kellen Fisher the other day even though I don’t think he’s quite ready for the minutes we’d need from him at this level. He looks fairly assured on the ball, perhaps a bit too lightweight in the tackle for someone who’s a decent size, though.

I respect Kramer's month long clamour for Maitland-Niles despite him not once being linked to us

Is this what manifestation is?

A bit of snooping on GOT and this was what I found:

"Baz at ToffeeTV"

So yeah, massive heap of salt I reckon.

Fucking YES.

Called him as a potential signing or more so someone I'd like us to go for a few months back.

Speaking of Serbian players kinda surprised Mitrovic hasn’t been linked with some PL clubs. He’d probably still be decent at this level.

Interesting. He always struck me as a versatile midfielder who could play in different roles. Sure Moyes can fit him into where Amorim couldn’t

There’s no world where we sign him, they want fifty million and he wants two hundred grand a week

Also, let's not buy players and then "try to fit them on".
Let's buy players that have been targeted for specific reasons

Don’t know why people keep doing this with players we’re linked with?

Had it with Grealish, and Dibling. It’s weird.

He’s going on loan most probably.

Expensive player I don’t like - We can’t afford him.
Player at a big name club - No way he’d come here.
Young talented, rising star - He wants CL not mid-table EPL.
Young raw diamond - We need someone who can contribute NOW, not next season.

And we wonder why we sign no one!

Swerve Mainoo, as much positional sense as PSR Tim

Come on man Mainoo is a full English international player super potential and ability let’s not compare him to Tim mainoo would be excellent here

Mainoo is at the most dysfunctional club in the PL. He is with a manager that doesn’t rate him enough to play him in his system that doesn’t really work.

Look at McTominay for proof of how moving away from that shambles can have a positive impact.

Mainoo will become a really good player somewhere. Has a good engine, good ability on and off the ball and seems to be well grounded.

Good player, huge upgrade on what we have in his position.

Would be all for it if he came here.

Think we'd be in the same boat with him United are.

Very talented player with no natural fit because the rest of the midfield isn't good enough to fit him in and let him just be a silky little ball mover.
