Semenyo - Another successful athlete who thinks it all just down to God!
Mad how God cares so much about these athletes. Shame about all the homeless, poverty and world hunger but at least he's looking after the footballers.

Drives me mad when anyone credits the imaginary omnipotent overlord of sporting excellence or medical intervention when it comes down to the hard work, dedication and talent of the people involved.

They think it makes them humble but it's actually incredibly arrogant and self-centered

Our team would be like 20% improved by a player like Lewis Hall (same with Livramento).
Not that we'd get either of them, but they're the kinds of profiles we need to be looking for.
I don't watch enough of them to know but wondering if they are as good defending as they are going forward. Have seen Livramento make a couple of bad positional errors that looked a bit poor. I agree, particularly with what I've seen of Hall, that they are a lot better going forward. Thought last few weeks that Hall is a player that world suit us.
Seems most teams go at our right side which also makes me think that's where they think they're more likely to get any joy. Maybe they just want to avoid Iliman as well.

Pep gets a yellow, fucking shite these rules when Arteta does it every game
Well at least it's someone else except for just us.
Not completely consistent, but better to have given it than not, and for one of the cartel members.

What's Neville on about....
If you can't showboat in a cup final when you're two up without some loser fucking RB having a go, what's the point
They are apologists for players going down and rolling around cheating, but decry showboating showing real skill and trickery (Richarlison also comes to mind).
What IS football these days??

Thought that religion and political messages weren't allowed in football. Or is that just FIFA holding onto a smidge of credibility and standards, that the FA/EPL tacitly ignore.

Sunderland not very good compared with Newcastle - Gordon

That's a funny take after losing twice in a season to them.

That's what happens when you're part of a cult-like one-club city. Nobody to check you, nobody to keep your ego in check. Just people reinforcing each others delusions and madness every day of the week. It makes them think they're a massive club. It makes them think they're better than they are. It makes them think they're worse than they are.
And Gordon's perfect for that environment, the little runt. Until he decides he wants to leave and then there'll be death threats.
