The substitutions pretty much killed us off as a threat. For some reason we kept trying to put everything down our left through George. He put Jones under no pressure whatsoever compared to Ndiaye and they walked the ball through us.

As for Barry, least said the better. He came on knowing he had at least 20 minutes to make an impact. Surely, you run your ass off, clatter Konate, put pressure on every chance you get? He did nothing.

I’m not as down as I thought I’d be. I kind of expect the Gods to shit on us against them. As others have said, this is our transition year. Give us a couple of full-backs and an upgrade as a striker during the summer and who knows what we can achieve next season.

And all they’re whinging about is how bad the atmosphere in the stadium was, shit Everton fans booing every Liverpool touch and whistling the ref  and those nasty Everton players not being nice

Not one of them had even tried to say anything about the actual match

We were playing really well until the disallowed goal and their goal. The limbs for the disallowed goal were amazing, and like @Shogun said the actual equaliser was much tamer. Think VAR plays at least a part in that, we were all waiting for the VAR check to come up on the screen as usual.

Thought they were the better team between their goal and our equaliser, which kind of came out of nowhere really. I actually think that the stoppage for the injury to their keeper didn't help us at all, we needed to have got straight back in after the goal whilst they were rattled and got at them but instead the massive delay meant the momentum had kind of gone by the time the game restarted. Thought we were poor after that though, didn't do anything like enough to put them and their inexperienced keeper under pressure.

Could see the winner coming a mile off. Deja Vu of a team crowding Pickford and the heads just totally falling off him and Tarkowski in particular, and it just had to be that horrible prick who scored it for them didn't it. Just horribly numb afterwards.

They had a pathetic attempt at getting a chant going “shitty ground, shitty ground I say “ but it never really took off.

It wasn't the winning or losing of the game but I cant believe they got a way with 3 or 4 late late hacks in the first half and not a yellow in sight.
If that was us doing the reducing they would have been rolling around looking for red.......lots of huff and puff against a shite Liverpool team and the same old shite at the end of the day.....on to the next 5 and lets see if we can pick ourselves up.

The worst thing about yesterday is we had over half an hour with their third choice keeper and didn’t put a decent shot or a cross in on him. Once Beto went off we didn’t even pressure him trying to play out. That was really poor.

I didn’t celebrate our goal.

From where I sit it had offside or foul written all over it.

Horrible game.

Would rather be shit and take the expected loss than be good and go in with actual hope we could win.

I went mad but knew deep down it was off.

That stands we win 3-0

I thought they were checking branthwaite who was off but I wasn’t really interfering.

When it said they were checking for an offside on Jake I know it would be disallowed.

It was a great goal as well. Lovely touch and finish.

This was very Brad Jones in the semi final!

If we would have brought Royston Drenthe on with half an hour left yesterday we would have won and everyone knows it

Thought we were the slightly better side overall until the substitutions....Barry and George were very poor...offered nothing which was a shame because he did really well against Brentford and and i kept saying he needs to get him on...
It was very noticable that they scored from a corner after the height of BETO and BRANTHWAITE went off....prior to that they had 9/10 corners that we defended with either Beto or Jarrod making the clearance....unfortunately same old story..
Thought the ref was pathetic at least 7 bad fouls from them in the forst half no card shown..Pickford does his usual rant gets carded...so you can basically foul players and not get a card (If your a lpool player) but shout at the ref and your carded !!(if your an everton Player)

PS
If i was moyes i'd get them in and coach how to defend a corner without all the holding pushing and shoving and defend the goal and attack the ball not the man....Tarkowski is the worst for it...concentrates more on grabbing and holding than defending....he was caught under the ball because of it today...whereas if he'd concentrated on the ball he would have easily made the header before that horrible tit and defended/cleared it....

Is shocking how easy that header was for them.

Someone attack the fucking ball.
