Think we've got a really nice balance in midfield but we are carelessly giving it away

Everton Under-21s defender George Finney has joined Scottish Championship club Ayr United on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.
The 18-year-old right-back – who joined the Toffees Academy aged six – became a first-year scholar in the summer of 2023, developing with Everton Under-18s before becoming a regular with the Under-21s this season.
A technically-gifted full-back, Finney has registered three assists this term in 15 games across all competitions in the Premier League 2, Premier League International Cup, EFL Trophy and National League Cup.
For Finney – who signed a first professional contract in July 2025 – the move to link up with Scott Brown’s Ayr represents the maiden loan switch of his career.
Fourth-placed in the second tier of Scottish football, Ayr have taken 29 points from their 21 league games so far – a tally which includes six wins and eleven draws.

I do feel we are getting more players out on loan which is good for them and us.
Most will never make it here but you want them to go on to have good pro careers. Maybe we make a bit of money on them but even those that don't it's nice to see them forging a career in L1 and L2.

Someone I know knows that keeper very well and has been telling me about him for honestly must be 10 years.
Pleased for him, he looks a real talent.
Braiden Graham keeps scoring doesn't he. Is 18s down a level for him?
Feel like the name Shea Pita has started to pop up more regularly, has he recently moved into the 18s or something?

Laid up on a sofa in alder hay with my kid so watched a bit of this on you tube.
Some quick thoughts.
Lb Poland a big, game lad. Gets up and down.
Two cms outstanding on the ball, combative and reeeeally tidy both of them.
Braiden Graham has had the ball in the net twice with identical finishes but had one ruled off and let me tell you it is a clinical finish - hard, low, far corner diagonal 1v1. A finishers finish imo.
