Please tell me you’re in on the joke at this point.
Yes I get it, hence me making a joke about you feeling remorse back.

There was also the he's a better one on one finisher than DCL before he then proceeded to miss 4 or 5 in a row.
That's not really a big claim though is it. I'm struggling to think of a worse one-on-one finisher than DCL tbh. DCL puts himself about and wins plenty in the air, but put him through on goal one-on-one and he'll miss 99 times out of a hundred.

DCL used to be ok at one on ones but now seems to have no confidence and misses them, Beto approaches them with confidence and misses.
Neither are reliable in that situation unfortunately.

Alright you got me!
Shall we do assists?
Yeah, he hasn’t been great on that front.
With that said, he was deployed as a de facto wing back carrying the ball out of his own half for a season with maybe one man to aim for in the box.
Compare against a player playing straight in front of goal for a team that consistently gets numbers in the box and service to the feet of its forwards.
If Ndiaye scores one more goal and gets two more assists (not likely but also not impossible), that’s a standard Maupay Brighton season from a position where it’s harder to rack up goal contributions.

Nice! Hope he can match an average Neal Maupay season in that case.

If it's to be believed it was Benitez who vetoed it, but who knows.

Whatever the case, Benitez was an absolute garbage person to put in charge of even a single football decision.
Criminal hire. It makes my blood boil thinking about it.

Just a snippet of the insanity of Moshiri.

Whilst we’re handing out flowers for the turnaround this man deserves his fair share.
Done a brilliant job when you look at it.

Set us up nicely for the moment we’re able to spend again.
Might’ve signed some underwhelming players but not a single financial liability to be found on the books now. That plus avoiding relegation is a job well done.
Could’ve signed a few additional quality players (e.g. Gibbs-White) with some actual money to play with.
Hope our proposed transfer committee continues to identify talent and spend wisely.
