Aren't they like 8th? Would understand if they were struggling after spending millions but doesn't seem to be the case.

Mind you, they are a crazy bunch of owners.

They could be sitting second and then lose three games and drop to fourth and they'd sack the manager.

Only won three since the start of December though which will always put a Watford manager on thin ice.

Might be Cleverley's last game this, 2-0 down at Frank Lampard's Coventry.

If Ange does get the sack then that could spice things up on the manager front.

Would they go for someone like Silva or Frank?

Feel like he has unfinished business at Villa in my dream managerial duo with Tim Sherwood.

He's another who'll never make it as a manager. He only won the SPL because the pressure of 10 in a row got to Lennon and he had a massive meltdown. Died on his arse at Villa and done much the same in Saudi. Fuck'im.

Watford being uncharacteristically patient with Cleverley, lost again yesterday with Sunderland away, Leeds at home and Boro away to come.

Jesus! I know Gerrard was linked with the job but oh how the mighty fall. I don't even know if this is a good appointment for Carlisle or not, on paper it should be but his career stalled years ago.

I couldn't remember if they were League One or Two when he was there but I think you're right.

They'll have money to spend but it'll just depend if he can get a tune out of the current squad, 12 new players in during the January window.
