I still like him. Think we can't sell him in January because of the DCL situation.

I do think he needs to be addressed in the summer. Don't think he can start for us in the Premier League but he causes murder off the bench.

Would still be curious to see him under a different manager. Think you would see more of his assets, and he wouldn't look like bambi on ice.

He endeared himself to me yesterday with how much it meant to him. Unfortunately he's still shit regardless, but I wouldn't actually be against him starting the next game just because maybe the good feeling he's generated and the desire he has might mean he does something unexpectedly good.

Think Beto reached peak Beto today.

Missed a sitter that leads to a counterattack that ends up with the Southampton goal. Almost an assist.

Scores a well taken goal thats then ruled offside.

Beto that.

Being honest, I was snarky earlier but that header is extremely difficult. It's a million miles an hour and a bit behind him. It's actually a hard opportunity.

Yeah nothing else he could do with the header, he was just unlucky.

Lovely touch and finish.

Unlucky with the chance before the goal. Think he does well if anything to get a decent connection on it.

Would probably start him for DCL now.

Can’t believe I’m at this point again.

In my heart of hearts I know he’s terrible.

Happy to see him get a run. Would love him to work out...and at the risk of repeating myself he does get shots off.

Frustrating player to watch tho.

Can be a good impact sub but the moment he starts we'll all remember just why that never usually happens.

I thought he did really well when he came on. Hit the bar, nearly got a defender sent off, and actually scored a quality goal minus the shit offside application.

Does deserve to start now.

As much as nobody enjoys it, it’s probably the best use of both players’ skill sets to have DCL do the thankless work of chasing after long balls for 60 minutes and for Beto to come on to try to score against a tired defense for the remainder.

Well he came on and scored vs Fulham and could have had 2 vs Southampton, so yes?

Whenever he’s started he’s not looked like scoring
