Id rather look to build the team around him, we genuinely have a world class player that was under utilised last year, give him the structure to play the way he needs to and it'll transform the team

If that's true I wonder if we'll get Philogene on loan as part of the deal?

Haha, yeah, I think it was more like just over a week, but I was so pleased about that at the time.

Also, if they flip Philogene after a successful season in the prem, it would do wonders for their psr

My Le Tissier theory was that they buy him for £13m, we then get him for them as a sweetener in the Onana deal for less than the £18m we were willing to pay Hull.

For clarification however I don't believe this.
