Left this one very late but think this is my favourite post of the year! 😂

Shades of “Like a young Burt Reynolds…” from this!

Yeah he has progressed massively under Moyes love the way he tackles mistimes sometimes but gets the ball loads too still green positional wise sometimes but his graph is going up rapidly

I want to believe but, that first half against Newcastle, just an aberration?

Bounced back the game after against Bournemouth and even though he got booked early probably put in his best performance for us and he's been decent ever since.

Agree, he’s pretty much been a steady 7ish every game since, just that was frighteningly bad.

Moyes publicly said he believes there is a player in there so hearing your manager say that, as well as giving you more minutes on the pitch, will give you confidence too.

Signs are promising but only a small sample size at this stage.

I'm on a generational bad run here, KDH, Garner, now Tim.

Is it too late to resign Andre Gomes? Could there be hope in Sigurdsson yet?

You’ll have to run back you posts on obrien as well soon.

Had noticed that last night when he was prowling the back four like a muscular Irish bear

You'll always have Iwobi

It’s all about taking in new evidence and updating your beliefs accordingly. Sometimes initial impressions are wrong and that’s fine.

We had more than initial impressions of Gomes and Sigurdsson. They both played a bunch and they were almost always various shades of crap.

Might be going overboard here, but for me I'd just give him every game now until the end of the season.

No loaning Mainoo or whoever, Gana on the bench... Let's see what he's got over a prolonged period and see if he develops the raw parts of his game.

We're not getting relegated this season, and Europe is an outside bet, so blood him and hopefully see him thrive.

Can't believe I'm typing this after I thought he was genuinely shit, but I'm starting to think he might actually have enormous potential.
