I would really be thinking about getting him up centrally, see if he can add a bit of the ball retention we are going to need.

Let Beto challenge for it and Ndiaye pressure the second ball. If he can turn and carry it, brilliant, if he can just hold it up for the deeper players to get around him, brilliant, but see if we can get him on the ball holding onto it for a moment.

All of this, plus runners around him creating forward pass options or making space for him to carry and/or shoot.

And you can see from his goal the way his tenacity and quick feet wins the ball back. It looks lucky as fuck, but it's not because he contests every ball and that will get you opportunities if you do it enough.

Not comparing him as a player, but it's something Suarez used to do. Get the ricochets off defenders legs or get the quick nutmeg and away with the ball.

Also great composure as he took an extra touch to get the ball where he wanted it and then gave the keeper the eyes before slotting it the other side of him.

He's a bloody marvellous player, probably the greatest asset he has as well as his dribbling is that he just keeps going whether things are working for him or not. You know he might lose a few battles with a defender but at some point he'll get the better of them as it doesn't deter him from trying again. Most wide players start to disappear if they lose a few duels, but not Ndaiye.

Although as you mentioned against Leicester he won the vast majority so there's games where the defenders just don't have much of a chance against him.

I’m going back on my old opinion, I think he’s best used coming in off the left rather than replacing Doucoure centrally.

Our playing out from the back seems to be focused on using triangles between the fullback, wide player and a centre mid. Him and Lindstrom are perfect for helping us escape pressure and get up the pitch since we can’t go long and rely on DCL winning battles.

Bonus is that it plays to Beto’s strengths as the opposition backline has to step up to pressure the wide players and when we do play through hes got space to run behind

He's been more central since Moyes has come in, getting closer to Beto and Doucoure.

Dyche prefers his wingers with chalk on their boots but other than ball carrying out wide it's just not the best use of his talents.

Get him coming central as much as possible and near the box where he's quick feet and goalscoring instincts are excellent.

Not been many in the last 40 years that made me think something may happen whenever they get the ball.

He's also seeing more of the ball, receiving it higher up the pitch and benefiting from myko being given the freedom to go beyond him more often.
