While we’re talking past mismanagement, I randomly stumbled on Sandro’s FBRef today.

Scored 9 goals for Las Palmas this season, apparently he remembered how to run without falling over.

It's a shame as I think we're seeing in practice that he and Moyes as a combo looks like it works well together.

Anyhow, yes credit to him and hopefully those who follow him can add and improve on his work now we have a little more to spend.

Online culture. Same as things like ''take the L'', ''get the dub'' etc.

I think Thelwell has done a good job, given the circumstances and the shambles he inherited while Moshiri was still in charge of the club. It feels like we are in a much healthier position.

Pity he is going to Rangers, I’d have liked to have seen him manage a club that wasn’t a basket case.

''Taking the L'' basically means accepting the loss (as in L), and ''get the dub'' means getting a win (dub as short for 'w').

I only saw for the first time the phrase “dub” to refer to a victory in a football match.

Not sure if it comes from Fortnite or PUBG but I definitely feel I’ve reached the age where I can longer keep up with that younger generation’s culture
