Bit of a blood bath in Championship, it's like the last day of the NFL regular season with managers getting fired left, right and centre.

Norwich, WBA, Cardiff and Huddersfield managers all sacked, Wilshire and Ramsey taking temporary charge at Norwich and Cardiff.

And yet in amongst all that Watford still haven't sacked Cleverely. Maybe their adopting a more patient approach?

I would sack him just for not scoring at pompy yesterday.
I did a 9 match £2 acca with both teams to score and 17 out of the 18 teams managed it only for them to let me down for £335

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), have a long-standing interest in the Italian coach and described him as “the president’s (Ednaldo Rodrigues) dream.” Further meetings are scheduled for next week and, if all goes according to plan, Ancelotti could then sign a contract. The deal is not expected to be long-term and sources indicated it will be less than four years.

If there’s one World Cup team you can tell to ‘just play’ and get results, it’d have to be Brazil, no?

Cleverley finally sacked, he lasted pretty well given the owners record with sacking managers.

Can't say I follow Watford much but I thought Cleverley had been doing ok there under the circumstances?

Another one where it's easier to fire the manager than put money into the squad? Or had he lost his way?

Nah, they wasn't doing great this season. Not Rooney bad obviously but I guess most clubs that size will be looking at Play-offs and they were never really in contention.

Having said that, wouldn't be at all surprised if they went down next season with the ownership they have.
