It is.

Wonder how it might skew if compared against relative squad sizes. I think the Hammers have the 2nd fewest first teamers in the league, and we didn't have many options when he was here last time.

Yeah it's Dom King who has announced it. It's probably true but nothing official yet.

Distinct lack of kopites/tories for us at the moment. Probably bring in Rees-Mogg to make up for it

Pleased there's no Kevin Nolan. He was one of the first things that crossed my mind when it became apparent Moyes was getting the job.

It’s a good job our squad isn’t on massively inflated wages

Only appointed a few weeks ago. Big rumour was Andy Peaks (Tamworth) was getting the job so they were delighted when Nolan was announced.

Pre match presser tomorrow is fine by me, would imagine he’s got a lot on his plate today finalising his back room staff, should then be able to announce that by then.

I find the reason for signing Moyes lying in the past and due to his affiliation with us from a decade ago. Football has developed since then and I do not think Moyes has done the same. I think he is pragmatic, like Dyche is, but on a positive note, far from as extreme as Dyche.

Lampard was a lazy signing. Signed on the assumption that he would be a great manager as he had been a great midfielder for Chelsea. He'd shown very little signs of a philosophy as a Chelsea manager and no tactical edge, so I never found that signing exciting.

I think the Benitez signing was a special one. I would have loved to know what people knew at that time when Ancelotti leaving. We have to remember that it was that summer that Moshiri pulled the plug on all money and we started to "save money" to try to escape point deduction etc. Did Ancelotti know this? Did Moyes know this? (As David Moyes was also offered the job rumors says) Was Benitez purely a "fall guy" for all the errors of our board?

We don't know but we wouldn't have liked him anyway. :)
yeah fair enough, I think one of the things I like about Moyes is that he is pragmatic, but hes also adaptable, which Dyche absolutely was not
