Silva replacement was what I was thinking too, but Ndiaye probably plays more like (Villa) Grealish.

I think he's probably the perfect player for us and we're the perfect club for him. If we can become more of a mid table team and then push towards Europe over 3 seasons it'll be hard to find a team who'll offer him more than we can in terms of level that he'd be playing at.

He’s quick-thinking, quick-footed and super-creative. He’s not on the same wavelength as anyone else in this Everton team, in fact, he’s playing a different sport to most of them.

Stick him in a team where everyone around him is his level or higher and watch him level-up instantly imo.

I agree that ndiaye won’t be going to an elite team.

He’s brilliant but he’s too off the cuff to play for an elite team. If he went to a city or arsenal he’d spend his time there out on the left playing one twos with the inverted regista full back.

Could see him going to someone like Villa or spurs for around £40m though but could see him staying here for a long time if we manage to be good at football again.

Yeah Arsenal were linked with Jags a few times but his passing was never good enough for them to actually sign him.

Similarly Cahill was fantastic but he wasn't creative enough for an elite team, if you compare him to someone like Lampard he was a level or two below, but that doesn't take anything away from how good he was for us.

Think people overrate the standard at the top teams. Gakpo and Diaz play regularly enough for the team currently top of the league. Trossard and Martinelli are regularly getting starts and minutes for the team in 2nd.

Ndiaye has shown throughout his career that he's got the end product and even under Dyche I think he was our top scorer this season. Scored 3 in a row now we're playing 21st century football and won't be surprised if he gets another 8-10 goals before the end of the season in the league.

He's a brilliant footballer.

I'd be very surprised if he got another 8-10 goals in 15 games, he's done well to get on the score sheet 3 in a row but that's not likely sustainable.

I actually think if he did do that we'd lose him in the summer so as good as it would be maybe just another 3-5 would do nicely... Which I think is about right.

I don't want to come across as saying he's not really good, I just think he's one of those players who lacks that extra 10% to be at an elite club. He's a bit of a budget Salah, got great skill and end product but lacks that rapid pace to elevate his game to that real top level, or that creative passing range to make up for it.

He's a street footballer, he's great to watch, he has an excellent attitude. Probably my favourite current player... I hope he's here for a long time.

If he hits ten prem goals I'd be really pleased.

I couldn't give a fuck whether he's the real deal or a budget Salbutomol Kid. I'm just enjoying watching an absolute baller strutting his stuff on the pitch. We pay to be entertained and Ndiaye is providing entertainment.
