Rumours are that forest haven't paid the majority of transfer fees to both agents and clubs alike and the FA are looking into them. Now the question is this: is this an FA issue or a premier league issue? surely as they're in the PL it's a premier league issue (too) considering they used the money to buy players for the PL seasons they're currently in. Raises the further question: If found guilty - Will relegated teams that they beat during the past 2 season sue them too ?
This is the Can of worms open with the FFP "rules"/"policy"

The can of worms situation makes it a more suitable environment for the ruling elite. We'll get (some) points returned (hopefully) yet no further sanctions to other clubs as the political heat cools.

Quite ironic that Roman Abramovich took on 80 million of debt when he bought Chelsea in the early 2000s. After 20 years of breaking financial sustainability rules people were queueing up to pay billions of pounds for the same club.

Is Burnham actually fighting our corner on this or did he just lash out a bit on twitter?

Big problem is the FFP rules from EUFA only came into force in 2011/12. The Premier league "adapted" them in November 2022 to "aid" the top clubs competing in Europe ie: the top 6. The % allowed for spending on wages & transfers was 70% in Europe, but the Premier league made an adapted change to an "unnamed amount" to which the PL teams apparently all agreed to.

Andy Burnham has been corresponding with the PL Chair Alison Brittain and has taken her to task over a number of issues regarding "treatment of EFC"
and due due process.

If we beat Burnley we should offer the premier league another 10 pts. Give them a bit of a chance

Still love this to get over turned or at least give us some back.

Still a total farce and we should continue to contest it.

Our form is a massive fuck you to the PL though.

Isn’t each position in the Prem worth something like £3 million ? So even if we survive but don’t get at points back we are being penalised by millions of pounds again.

Which is kind of why I'm hoping we don't get them back. It just means that we'd be in a position to be an absolute pain in the arse to the powers that be. That fucking bad smell that they can't get rid of. Able to take the moral high ground as we questiin why no other fucker is getting punished and in a vood position to pursue a claim for loss of earnings against the corrupt shower of Cunts. Fuck the Premier League and the corrupt fuckers that run it.

Not going to tempt fate with that kind of talk, especially as they were making noises about docking us again wanting to stick the boot in) for the most recent year (when rolling in past years).

Good news is that if they did dock us another 10 then we're now 2 wins behind Luton.
