Only here where we're all dead smart
Everywhere else seems to want to drop Gana

Garner has been miles better than Gana this year.
People hate on Garner here because for some reason then expect him to be Pirlo and control play from deep. He's positionally disciplined, puts a shift in, covers multiple positions, consistent and has a good shot/cross on the occasion that he does take one. He's also very boring, often shuttles the ball to the full back rather than driving forward and is pretty slow - but none of that is a massive issue in a screening DM.
People need to stop expecting him to be something that he isn't, our biggest issues are at full back and up top not in CM.

I have a sneaky feeling that tonight will be one of those days where Moyes makes a lineup that we all hate, we complain for an hour or two and then grind out a 2-0 win

I do wonder whether Gana could adapt his game a bit and be more of a classic holding midfielder - he kind of did it against Brighton as he was alongside Iroegbunam and I thought he did it pretty well.
Chasing after everything which he usually does isn’t always the most beneficial thing for the team, especially from a shape perspective as we do seem to love to create gaps for the opposition to play through, which this tends to support
I’d be up for seeing him do this and play alongside Röhl with Garner pushed out to right back

I'd like to see this too. Also open to three in the middle.
Cover transition, start transition is what I want from a DM mostly...I'm just not 100% sure Gana can do it.
Even spurs with palhinha have a cheque in the post

Until we manage to actually build up play with possession rather than only on transitions and set pieces then we can't let Gana stop chasing as weirdly he's our biggest attacking threat when he wins the ball high and we can break vs low numbers with Grealish/Ndiaye carrying

will be leaving shortly for the game would like to see:
                pickford
 garner tarks keane myko
             gueye rohl
                  Charlie
          ndiaye Grealish

I love how you've got so little confidence in either striker you've just binned off having one all together

A little less addiction to Jack would be nice. Actually give the opposition something to think about

Yeah it does feel like any opposing manager's team talk at the moment will be 'get as many bodies around Grealish as possible because that's their only threat'.
Of course then someone will ask 'what do we do about Ndaiye' to which the manager can only respond with 'fuck knows, just pray?'

N’Diaye is the star of our team, not Grealish. So if you can use Grealish to deflect attention away from Illi then that is only a good thing.
Need a better game from KDH today. That final pass needs to be better but at least he is getting in good positions and trying to create.

I'm currently in Greece, what's the best VPN to download for free?
I could watch the game on sky go.

I really, really don't want to see Job at right back tonight.
I would like to see rhol and alcaraz starting.
I don't mind if garner drops back or coleman plays.
I know the chances of any of it happening is next to nowt

I’d rather we play Joseph-Désiré Job at right-back
