Frank is a bit of a fraud imo. Will be Nuno all over again at Spurs.

Big step up for Frank, even more pressure when you have a chairman who's cut throat and removes most managers every two years.

But but but… a European trophy! The greatest manager in Spurs’ last two seasons! A terrible mistake from Levy this

Sensible time to do it, Champion League football is a big draw for any manager and they might not be in it for a while after this season.

Not the most insipring net they're casting though with some of the names mentioned.

They’ll give it the massive “we spoke to loads of candidates, Zidane, Xavi, Enrique, Allegri, we’ve enquired about Silva, Poch, Fabregas, Frank, but there’s only ever been one standout… welcome back Michael Carrick!”

Missed that Inzaghi left Inter to go to the Saudi Pro League.

Would say that's an odd one, but I can't say I'm overly surprised at anyone taking the sort of cash they offer.

They had the Peterborough owner on Talksport earlier who knows Ivan Toney and his family really well. Said Toney is getting around £100m tax free over his 4 year contract in Saudi.

I think it's crazy to go there from a footballing point of view, but man it'd be hard for anyone to turn down that kind of money.

Absolutely the right decision to sack him. Utterly inept this season. You can't have faith in him going forwards and that's what really matters. Worked out really well because he can play the victim

He lost 22 games in the league and had spurs 17th.

The trophy is irrelevant. You can’t survive that as spurs manager.

Seems like half the league won a trophy last season.
Ange was well out of his depth.

that has taken the shine off spurs first major trophy in years
the uefa europa cup......
doesnt matter how it was won they won it
poor decision this the players were behind ange for staying and they have another chance to win another euro trophy in august the european super cup ange would have been up for that too
feel for the spurs fans here
taken the shine off it for them
ange finally learnt how to defend and get a result - instead of the over the top press and leave the back 4 vulnerable
surprised levy didnt sack ange just before the final

Or they’ve been relegation form for a year and a half and don’t want to be batting at the bottom again

He’s just not cut out for the Prem

It does matter how they won the Europa league.

They weren’t even good in that competition. It was such an easy route for them to make the final, it proves nothing of him as a manager winning that trophy.
