PSV turning it around against Sevilla as well. Arsenal could be in a bit of trouble if they lose tonight but they should win anyway.

Tom Cairney has just admitted on TV that he's thrown himself to the ground as soon as he felt contact, and he's laughed about it. That there was zero in it to make him go down.
Why is the game rewarding players who are cheating and trying to mislead?
The last one is never a penalty either.
Just watched the incident cods and it's pathetic.
Not that i didn't know it already, but the games gone. it's fucked.
And townsend's comment oh he's entitled to go down makes me puke
Spot on Stumpy. Been that way and progressively getting worse over the last 20-30.
Did you see how everyone on the panel smiled like it was an inside joke and no one wanted to really discuss it? But then I was very surprised that they actually first raised it, and then crossed live to an unprepared Cairney to interview, talk about a hospital pass… good to further expose it, but hopefully not normalise it or desensitise the viewer.
and that's the other thing i hate, the way they normalise it.
Call it out, tell him what he is, a cheating, diving, con artist.
Up until 5 or 6 years ago i would watch anything to do with or about football, and i mean anything.
Now unless it's us i hardly ever watch it.
Var has sucked the soul and the joy out of the game, not just the delight of celebrating when we score but the absolute ineptitude of all those involved in the process.
I dread to think where we will be in 5 years time if this carries on as it is

Point for Copenhagen in Munich with some penalty var drama in injury time. Terrible for Man United. Means they need to beat Bayern Munich and hope Copenhagen/Galatasaray ends in a draw.

Classic early round cup match on BBC2. York v Wigan in the second round. Can barely see a thing.

Can't really hack Burnley v Sheffield United and wanting a draw whilst hoping Luton get beat as they should by Brentford isn't particularly appealing either. Just going to tune into Arsenal/Wolves and see how they fuck over Wolves this week.

Not surprised Burnley are on their way to win number 2 this season and both against championship sides last season.
