Makes me laugh how they spend all this money and still somehow think they're not buying their success, absolutely baffling.
so IF they win anymore trophies just say they bought them
kopites would choke on their carlsberg if you say that to em

They just give the “you’re just bitter” comment back

Remember it’s only buying a trophy when other clubs do it, not them, they’re special

They've hardly spent a penny this summer.

They've done what they should be doing as champions. Spend from a position of strength and don't rest on your laurels.

Having said that, they weren't all that special last season, the other top teams were just a bit crap.

City and Arsenal should be much stronger next season.

Have Arsenal done anything yet?

I know City have signed Reijnders and Cherki whilst they have Rodri back now.

Wouldn't be surprised if Arsenal are still well off it next season.

I think they will do. They've got a new DOF. They're not in that fascist appeasing tournament, so there's no pressure on them to do their business early. They'll get a big striker, which should make a massive difference to them plus one or two more. And assuming they don't have the injuries of last season, they should be in the mix for me.

well it looks like the shite and city are the main contenders for next seasons prem - WTF are arsenal doing
this is where arteta and the gooners lose the league
they just sit back and dont go in and push for the essential transfers they need
and they still persue every midfield + winger in the universe and dont persue their main failing....... a striker

I think next season will be Arteta's last. I just don't think they'll ever win the league or Champions League with him at the helm.

Havertz is a better starting Striker than Martinelli is a starting LW, they need to buy there first IMO

Mad how our new stadium has fried their brains. Can't read a post online about it without them mouthing off in the comments. I thought we were the bitter ones?

Going to be tough for them seeing all the concerts being in the dockside stadium next to town and Euro 2028 being in there

Yeah, kinda makes their Anfield loft conversion look now a bit like papering over the cracks, no way will a major music or sporting event go anywhere other than BMD.

not convinced havertz shld be anywhere near playing as a main CF one of the main reasons gooners failed last season
now they have gyokeres in his natural position this shld provide the gooners with a better shape and more chance of challenging next season - until he gets injured

Doesn’t the new fella spend loads of time out wide on the left and basically bullies little fullbacks and gets the CBs on the back foot for 90mins? I saw a heat map of him last season and it was crazy how wide he was.
