She's probably riding him while he taps away on his laptop.

He's proof you CAN mix business with pleasure.

Lavia went for £50m and he's not half as accomplished as Onana.

Not sure what the add-ons or sell-on fee look like but might give us an extra couple million over the next few years which is ok.

Oh well, only player in the team that could pick the ball off the defence and turn upfield through the middle consistently. Need to replace that or well have even more play down the wings and little through the middle which is already a problem for us.

Gives us £26m to play with on the finances someone posted earlier?

That’s three £35m players on 5 year deals and still have some to be up this year

Not huge, Onana’s not even on £70k

Wages won’t be an issue we need to swallow beyond this season either with increased revenues from new stadium

Anyway point was we can sell one Onana and buy three

We’ve put a sell on clause, similar to the one Jadon Philogene had, so when we buy Ama back next year it’ll be cheaper

I'm disappointed he's moving on, unrealised potential more than anything. He's got some good attributes. His best moment for me was still the run in his debut, almost a what could have been.

I still think some players don't have the team tactics playing to they're strengths, but they like to still do their utmost to grow and work harder at it than those for whom it comes more naturally. Not sure Onana has really gone down that path despite the social media hype around effort. If you self-promote, you've really got show it.

We spent a large chunk on him and didnt get what we spent, but I guess we'll be somewhat rewarded with the risk now, would have rather it had been on the pitch than the bank. He'll do fine at Villa.

Was thinking earlier I wasn't sure if he'd gone or not yet. I was so not arsed by it I didn't even check until this thread was updated. Think it's a fantastic deal for us regardless of what he does with the rest of his career
