So you want a CV with no failures?
Take the blinkers off: All successful managers learn from failures
I don't want someone who's style isn't effective in the premier league... This is a guy who lost FIFTEEN consecutive games as Norwich manager the second time he got them promoted. He's got one way of playing and it's great at championship level and crap at premier league level.
Doesn't exactly strike me as the kind of guy you bring in when a team is 2 points above the drop zone after half a season.

It never goes how you want it to with Everton does it.
I dunno, but even during the good times of the 80’s we always seemed to be either a step behind, or at best unaware of the iceberg on the horizon.

To coin a couple of phrases:
We are stuck between a rock and a hard place
We are damned if we do and we are damned if we don't

FFS, looks like we are stuck with Dyche, sitting back and waiting to concede, praying for a 0-0.

If TFG had talks with Potter and he has chosen West Ham, Dyche, with that knowledge, will have lost interest and will be going into games half hearted
Unsettling

Is it too early to start questioning TFG more? I know they have only been officially in charge for 20 days, but realistically they havent, and will have been doing a lot of preparatory work, so I find it baffling that they have concluded he deserves anymore time than he has. That should have been the day 1 job, move him on, this downturn in form hasnt come in the last 20 days, its been there for months and the lack of action is worrying.
Although, the rumours that they want Southgate but he wont join mid season has me appreciating the work Dyche is doing a lot more, and maybe he deserves more time.....

Im not sure it matters, Dyche has known his days are numbered for a long time, but that wont stop personal pride and his desire to do the best job he can. I dont think its a great job hes doing, but he'll be looking for his next seven figure job and he wont get that if it looks like hes half arsing it

Southgate had the pick of England's best .... you can't judge him at club level from that
