Was pretty good overall imo, just the slip that blotted the old copy book. Worked tremendously hard all game.

Worked well. And yes, Pickford maybe shouldn't have played him in where he was but just don't dick around like that in that area of the pitch.

It's football 101.

Yeah he was poor today. Defo got talent and effort but makes the wrong decision too many times and often seems to have a rush of blood to the head at the wrong moment.

Keep him but shouldn’t be a starter

Seeing his level now. I can't see the reasoning behind paying 12 million quid for someone only deemed worth a 2 year contract.

It's brown envelope agent chicanery. Will move on in a years time for an undisclosed fee.

Think he's crap and I've largely been a fan. He has talent but zero intelligence.

He tries hard and puts himself about but he also plays with his head down so much.

He doesn’t seem to know how to play with his teammates. Definite spark if he picks the ball up with room to drive at goal but beyond that, I’m not having him at the moment.

Specialist sub appearances until he can focus on everything he’s supposed to be doing and work with his teammates a bit better.

You're saying he's a No Brainer?

A lot of the complaints about him in this thread sound like classic South American traits. Can and will be coached out of him but he’s still relatively inexperienced in uk.

Not that it’s much of an endorsement but I thought he was one of our better players. The slip was unfortunate but symptomatic of a heavily watered pitch (note that the Leeds player closest to him also slipped within a millisecond).
