Gordon should be playing in these situations. He's a constant attacking threat and drags the ball with him up the pitch whilst he had a cracking season.

He hasn't a clue what do with these players or how best to use them, or in the case of Palmer and Gordon not use them at all.

Some of the best young talents in European football and he's made them look utterly clueless.

Felt very much like the pre-Southgate days that, completely clueless, no belief, slow, disjointed... Sign of a manager who's stayed too long as he's regressed a competitive team to play like a Steve McLaren or Roy Hodgson team.

It's criminal that he's come in to a major tournament without a clue what his best team is and thought playing TAA was suddenly a plan to win the tournament.

We looked lost out there and it's no coincidence that if you play such a passive midfield that you'll come under huge pressure and give the opposition belief and allow them to build up a head of steam... We HAVE to start a match being competitive both on AND off the ball, not try reel it back in after 55 mins when it's too late.

And why is Kane sooooo deep or out wide all the time?! The whole thing is just a mess!
