Sky running the story now and they went with the deal sheet story , Ornstein sitting at the table jumped in and said it was a deal change and shelling out more money after the Mateta collapse , they got the willies,
but then contracted himself and said the sheet too wasn't submitted in time and pulled the plug . ..
Fuck the Mateta deal had collapsed mid afternoon, total fuck up . He even had his medical. ffs

Shame for Dwight, feels like Palace are a real basket case at the moment.
Now Dwight has to stay at Everton until at least the summer, I’m not sure if there will be that level of interest in him again or if anyone would be willing to buy him at anywhere near £20m

McNeil's partner I think this is posted this to IG. Sounds like Palace ghosted him? They really might be a basket case of a club at the moment. Also alluding to some personal behind the scenes stuff...probably more going on than we know.

Shame the deal didn’t come off for either of us. His partner sounds lovely though, so I’m sure he’ll get over it quicker than us!
