I thought he was one of our better players. Worked hard tried to go forward. I think he was also let down by his teammates. Lost count that nobody went to help him.or went with him. So many playes just hiding from the ball.

It made me sick watching last night. I was quite positive even without signings that we clearly need. But that positivity was gone within the first 5 minutes. You could just sense it with the players. It looked more like this was the first time playing together and some just like they were playing for the first time period!

I know Garner is not a left back, but bloody hell if you have the ball does it mean you forget how to play and pass just because you are out of position? O'brien is never a right back.

Defense was piss poor. Why do our defenders also walk with the ball and ignore midfielders just to try and impossible pass??? Why?? Keep it fucking simple.

I like Beto, but even I was screaming to get him off around 50 mins in as he was invisible.

Ndiaye tried and Alcaraz also, but the rest just were not up for it.

I would also seriously look for a cb that will push Tarks and Branthwaite when back.

Was out of position to be fair to him.

He’s very erratic though but fine for a squad player.

Will make a good impact from the bench.

Not a right winger, can't judge him too harshly.

He's average.

Nothing's changed from last season, he's very raw and has poor decision making... but he's got quality and wants to make things happen.

Was always someone to develop rather than a starting option, give him minutes but also not rely on him. Obviously the poor recruitment this summer means he's playing a key role which isn't fair on him at this stage.

Should be a useful squad player with the hope of him kicking on and becoming a baller, but we're so short we're not only starting him but also playing him out of position.

He looks most effective behind the striker in a 4411. If that's not how we're using him then leave him on the bench. McNeil would have been a better option.

Looks like a player fighting for a place. May be limited, but it’s a great attitude to have in your squad players - raises the standards. I like him.

I like his attitude and you could see he was really up for it last night.

As we stand right now though, he's not good enough to play as high risk as he does - he's always the one trying to force the play and going for the killer pass/dribble/shot but in reality we've got better players around him in Grealish and Ndiaye and his role as the 10 should be to give them the opportunity to shine.

Some real main character energy about him, if he keeps developing then he could be a real talent as he's only 22.

Ridiculous how much better he looks playing league one opposition.

Only watched the first half but thought the same as always, he's very talented and positive but needs to develop his decision making and accuracy when passing.

He's a rough diamond, just hope he doesn't get his natural instincts coached out of him and told to play safely. He wants to pass forward, he wants to slip people in... These are really good characteristics that just need a couple of seasons of development.

Can't win can he. I assume that shot goes over the bar against Brentford.

It was play on words from a post from @TheRam in the Mykolenko thread, apologies.

Just cocking about.

Imagine calling yourself NSNOers and neither of you calling each other the C bomb there. Shame on you both.
