Guess he’s not even on the bench then today, Moyes won’t put up with petulance.

He's not really helping himself is he. Him and Beto aren't exactly tearing up trees and scoring for fun, silly things like that will just piss off management, team mates and fans. He won't be the first player to be a bit of a biff on the socials though.

Mad how your own attitude and perspective/experience can colour things.

I didn't even see any shade. Thought it was him saying he knew the score and will show the required patience

The kid was on a yellow and was showing signs of getting a second, Moyes let it go as long as he dared.

Great all-around performance.

Credit to Moyes for sticking with him, it was obviously the right call but he could’ve easily just flipped back to Beto.

Desperate for him to get that first goal so he can just get on with the business of enjoying himself and improving every week.

Worked hard today and again was able to handle the physical side better, all round decent performance and glad Moyes stuck with him today.

Also thought from about 65mins until subbed he grew in confidence because he hadn't been hooked by that point.

He was tiring when subbed so think that was fair enough. Got a good reception off the crowd too

I'd not go too overboard but these last few weeks (miss aside) have generally been steps in the right direction and he's showing signs of getting up to the pace of the game and overall I'd say that was his best outing so far. He was showing more energy which does help in a Moyes team. Still needs a goal, but a decent 7ish out of 10 sort of game from him.

Needs a goal like Keane scored today just to break the duck.

Much better, but saying great all round performance is pushing it a bit.
Hope the lad pushes on.

Moyes told him off? I missed that.

It was a bit dramatic by Barry, it was approaching the 80th minute.

Looked like he had a little word with him as he came off.
