Also think it’s a total myth that he hasn’t looked after himself
Cos we see him bevvied after City had won the league or champions league - people have this picture that he’s got a beer gut and sinks 12 pints of Stella on weeknights and has a sharing kebab to himself
Fella is absolutely ripped, super talented. Total joy to watch him yesterday , he’s the main man here
Its mad isnt it, had 2 kopites and 2 united fans saying to me 'ahhhh he is going to love Liverpool isnt he, be out bevvying every night and shagging everything that moves hahaahah'
But he hasnt ever had an attitude issue? He got pissed up in the treble celebrations, like a normal lad !!?
I honestly dont understand why people are saying this kind of thing.

I mean, he got pissed after the treble celebrations for about 2 months after it! Felt at the time that Pep wouldn't have liked that and probably why the next couple of seasons went the way they did for him.
Back at it now though, fully to our gain!

If he helps win us a trophy I’ll cover his bar bill myself

We’ll only know whether the 50m is worth it at the end of the season. It depends where we finish and how the other players we buy develop. We’re not even out of the transfer window yet so it’s majorly premature.

Was having a pint outside the Railway in town after the game on Sunday. Car is stopped over the road at the lights and starts revving its engines so everyone turns round.
It was Grealish hanging out the window absolutely buzzing off everyone!

Villa fans will tell you the partying thing isn't to do with City. It's to do with when he recorded the "COVID stay safe" message as Villa captain one morning and then crashed his car pissed at Ross McCormack's covid party that night and ran off.
That's why they were happy to snap City's hand off for £100m and why they are delighted we've got him as he's now shit and they are relieved they haven't had him back and had to carry him all season while they chase their rightful place back in the Champions League.
I detected a hint of bitterness from the particular work colleague/spokesperson who put me right, but thought I'd post it here for some balance.

They'd have had the "Welcome Back Jack", "One of our Own" flags out had he returned. As it is, they'll give him plenty of abuse. The most Kopite set of fans you could ever meet outside Anfield.

Watched the game with a Villa fan in the pub on Sunday, he's a season ticket holder. The guy said the majority still love him and would have him back in a heartbeat, they can't understand why they haven't been in for him, reckoned it was due to all the PSR nonsense.
Grealish comes across as much more mature now and will be desperate to go to the world cup, can only be of benefit to us. Still very early days and I'm not getting too carried away, but it's hard not to be excited by the likes of him, Ndiaye and Dibling after the shite we've had to watch for years.

Him, Ndiaye, Dibling is a phenomenally more exciting three than what we were looking at 2/3 years ago that's for sure
Not sure he's too bothered about playing for England. He won't suit Tuchel and I don't think that'll bother him. Club will be his focus.

Dreamland with Grealish at Everton
What a start he has had, probably not even match fit yet either.
