'Something beyond biology' - Ex-Barcelona & Everton star Gerard Deulofeu may retire at age of 30 due to freak injury

Sorry for the guy, still a chance it would seem if the infection goes away but not had an easy time of it.

(sorry wasn't sure where else to put this, he is technically a free agent now).

I thought I read somewhere he was coming over for the game last night?

Chelsea must be selling some more hotels, splashing a ton of cash on some random Portuguese youngsters

Also Arsenal interested in Moise Kean :snigger:

Been smashing it this season in Italy.

Won’t be surprised to see him get a big move this summer.

Something about the Premier League that Italian players just struggle with. Even non-Italian players like Lukaku post-Everton seems to struggle in the Prem compared to Serie A.

It’s fascinating looking at our 2019-20 setup. A lot of wasted talent in there.

I don’t think Kean was ever the right striker for Silva (he seems to operate best with a mobile bartering ram like DCL) but there’s an alternate universe where we buy two actual good midfielders for the money we wasted on Gomes, Gbamin, and Delph, banish Sigurdsson from the team, and have a good few years under him.

Just made myself a little angry thinking about how much money and time we wasted on Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Possibly the worst signing in football history for the noxious long-term effect it had on us. Throw all the money you want at fixing the team, the problem is your record signing who doesn’t want to touch the ball.

I know people disliked Sigurdsson but at least he did contribute goals and assists. He wasn't totally shit, just not worth the fee paid for him and his love of sticking out a hand as a player wandered by him as his version of pressing was incredibly frustrating.

We signed worse and I probably wouldn't put him in my top few for wasted money tbh.

He was totally shit. His skillset was only useful to a poor team. Anyone with ambitions to control a game of football lost more playing sigurdsson then they gained from his goals
