Im really confused....
Why are yous saying this though. He hasnt even been here one week??
Did you honestly think we would batter Villa? Why would there be such a massive change in 2 days?
Plenty of time in the season left. We will likely get a couple of players in... It isnt like there are 5 remaining games?
Just feel like we should wait another 3 or 4 games until we are saying its done.

Totally, he's tried to implement some ideas but had no time to work on them and is sussing out which players are worth playing.
I get the new manager bounce thing but I don't think we'll get that with games coming thick and fast. We'll probably lose to Spurs too but hopefully by the end of the window we'll be stronger and Moyes' methods will start to kick in.

For a manager that did not want a relegation battle...
If only the players didn't

give him some time
he had a couple of days to prepare
with dyche we was defo going down but i expect moyes will find a way to get the most out of these players and with a couple of good additions he can sort us out
the result wasnt what we wanted but the performance isnt as bad as some suggest
possesion was even we had one less shot than villa did and actually had a few chances to score
to me thats a massive change from dyche
moyes will try to win games dyche just tries to not get beat

Bournemouth in the cup will be a good opportunity. It's another game against PL opposition to implement his tactics and/or try new things and, hopefully, get a new player or two up to speed.

How much time for him? Half a season?
Try winning games with this squad

I expect much of the same, unless we get what we need:
New players
Dyche knew it; we knew/know it; Moyes knows it

For me it's almost like...everything else other than how we played.
He didnt really do much, because how could he. Just Sean's first eleven, with maybe some different messages about build up and long balls and defensive line.
We were really poor. I expected us to be, but it was really poor with no bounce at all. Ground was flat as it will be. Players looked, to be honest a stark reminder of who they are - absolutely crap. Villa weren't even very good. Their two CBs are their box defenders and still passed it through us no problem. Won in first gear away after not winning away in donkeys.
Then after the game he looked absolutely dejected. Talking about the size of the job, everything that has come before and how Sean has tried to get things going, the lack of quality in the squad.
This was not new manager lift territory. It was - Sean Dyche was right and got out the sinking ship territory.
Then today the links are for willian, cannon, a loan from Chelsea if we pay off the other loan from Chelsea.
I'm looking for positives and all I have are a higher xg created and Moyes (who we've hired to give our attack a boost...) looked like he really understands how shite the squad is now.

Not sure why anyone expected a significant lift or for it to be better than what it was. We are a side right down the bottom who got deservedly beaten by a really good team. It was to be expected and everyone else lost yesterday too. It's a battle of a few really poor sides who'll mainly lose each week
We are crap but we already knew that. We aren't doomed because we are in a mini league with other really crap teams

we have been in relegation fights for years
give him a chance to make some signings and then judge him after that
we have a side built by benitez lampard and dyche and yer its fucking shit in general, if we can get 2-3 of the right kind of players i think moyes can get a tune out of them
i know its difficult to see the light atm but i do genuinely think moyes gives us the best chance to make the right trnsfers and decisions to get out of this mess, its not going to be easy
but please give him a few weeks to actually try turn things around

To be fair to them 3 managers all we've really done is stripped the side of it's best players. Where we are as a club isn't really on them. All 3 turned up after we wasted 100s of millions on shite

Sure, we'll give him a few weeks - but how many defeats in that time?
Spurs are there for the taking: beat them and Ange is gone; go for the jugular
