On that point, I was trying to work out the other day what the Premier League's obsession is with making us Arsenal's final home game of the season...

03/05/98 Arsenal 4-0 Everton
11/05/02 Arsenal 4-3 Everton
11/05/05 Arsenal 7-0 Everton
21/05/17 Arsenal 3-1 Everton
22/05/22 Arsenal 5-1 Everton

Can think of a couple of times they've battered us at Goodison on the opening day too!

The game where Lescott said he could not play before joining City.

We did beat them by 6 in 86 with a certain Gary Lineker getting a few.

Yeah, think I remember them doing us 4-1 in the season we finished 4th as well on the opening day. Always bizarre to me that Henry never scored at Goodison Park because God knows they scored enough goals there.

That can't be true, surely?

5 matches, no goals.

I think Tevez only scored with a dubious penalty in his last appearance at Goodison, and Ronaldo in his last too, if I remember rightly.

Something like that, anyway.

And there’s me thinking every player who’s ever played at Goodison scored their first goal here? 🤷‍♂️

How often did Ronaldo play at Goodison. Fergie used to send his weakened team for about ten seasons.

"Quick, get the ruling on that other £6.5m in and get some more points off them."

Huge 3 points tonight, you’d think we were quite safe but I think one more win should confirm it
