We’re signing a mega deal with Live Nation/Ticketmaster next year, so the Hill Dicko will get its pick of the top concerts. That’ll be a massive boost for the finances.
Wasn’t sure where to put it.
1994 Eddie Vedder does not approve

Is this something you've made up?

No. Rumours been knocking around for a while and heard it confirmed by someone who would know.

Is Live Nation / Ticketmaster as evil in England as it in the US?

With the caveat that the UK government has put legislation in place surrounding dynamic pricing - so they can't get away with the absolute worst of their practises here.

It's shite how they're just letting Goodison die a slow death. Last game at Goodison, became last men's game at Goodison and now they're farming out a beaten up Goodison for cup games to neutral clubs.
I find it hugely disrespectful to one of English footballs great grounds, our ground, to let it become some sort of half way house while they try to decide what to do with it.

Absolutely disgraceful what’s happening.
Glad those pictures are out so people can see what’s actually happening.
The plans to redevelop it into a ground with a smaller capacity for the woman was nothing but platitudes.
They’re letting it rot until somebody pays them to do something with it.
Scumbags.

Not really the owners we were all hoping for. I can't recall owners elsewhere that haven't turned up to a game?
Cleared out the decks, but there intentions isn't to see this club winning silverware or competing at the top end again even in 3-5 years time.
Fleece the fans and make as much money. Stuck with these for quite some time.

It's so utterly sad isn't it.
We will keep paying and filling grounds because we adore the club for some fucking reason.
But it's so so horrible the shit we go through.

Wouldn’t take those pictures a face value, no sign of anything like that in the crowd scenes of that match.

Funny really why people thought any different of American businessmen.
This was an opportunity for them, and still is, if people think they were ever going to pump money in at their own expenses they're deluded. I said it for a while, stability, then flip, that's all they're interested in - profit margin. The irony is this what lots of people wanted, and I'm not sure it's necessarily a bad thing (living within our means), it'll just mean success won't come as easily or as quick, but other tabs have done it.
