The shite blowing 150m on Wirtz would be unheard of for them - really surprised by that

They did break the transfer record for a goalkeeper and CB not that long ago
I know they've never spent a penny according to their fans and none of their players collect a wage but you know... In reality.

Can’t be right, they have the best midfield three in world history already?

These sort of bullshit deals are how Man United are suddenly able to spend a bunch without breaking PSR. Who needs the Champions League when someone is willing to pay 100 mil for a guy about to turn 31.

United fans don’t realise it but he’s a massive part of the problem.
He spent the whole second half the other night just moaning at the ref and his teammates.
He’s a good player but his attitude is terrible. If he’s captaining your club then you’re in trouble.

Noticed Thierry Small is playing on the right for Charlton today.
Really "nailed" his dream move after leaving us didn't he?

In fairness I think he probably just decided Southampton were a better bet to develop him which is probably fair
Probably did us a favour too. Not that good and better a few million in compensation than giving him a contract he wasn't worth.

Looks like Cunha to Man Utd confirmed. He'll improve them next season, but it's frustrating to see a club as poorly run as Man Utd not skip a beat with another expensive signing. Financial "fair play" just doesn't exist for some clubs. Just keep buying until something sticks.

Aye, but they'll be funding it with the sales of Garnacho and maybe Mainoo... not sure that's good business.

Man U have bought loads of good players. That's not their issue. They have a rotten culture and Cunha's not the kind of character that will improve that, talented as he is.

That sounds like a great idea. Replacing a massive bellend with an even fucking bigger one.

I wouldn't be surprised, but is it atm like all the clubs linked have agreed to pay the release clause, then its up to him.
Or is it more concrete to this
