Everything I've seen is he's going around meeting several different clubs. Reported to have already spoken to us and Newcastle, no evidence of any others as yet

Nine minutes in and this conference league final looks like it could be great fun.

1-0 Betis

Ait-Nouri to City

Surprised they’re finally buying an actual proper left back!

Wolves losing Ait-Nouri and Cunha.

Brentford losing Flekken and Mbeumo. Both could be in trouble next season.

Why would anyone choose Man U over Arsenal? (in the case of Mbeumo)

Also what's happened to Man U being on the verge of going out of business and needing to sack lots of working class people to stay afloat?

Really grates this stuff. Shows what bollocks PSR rules are if Man Utd can keep on going out and buying at this level after years and years of doing this stuff, paying insane wages and basically keep failing until they stumble on the right combo to move them up the league.

Just highlights what we know to be true that the rules aren't broken, they are just meant to keep the rich clubs at the top.

Man United probably more likely to win trophies in the next 10 years whilst I'm sure some players would rather play for Amorim than Arteta.

For Mbeumo personally then I guess Saka plays in his main position

Think they're sailing quite close to the PSR wind too aren't they? (Wolves)

They probably won't be able to reinvest as much as they would like there either.

Still haven't really properly replaced Jota and Neto either.

Probably why the bookies had them as one of the favorites for the drop.

I know the valuation on the club is 2nd to Real Madrid. That was reported the other day, that might be what you saw. And maybe if they sold to a rich country down the line someone would pay that.

They do make a ton of revenue due to their global reach but I also know they carry a lot of debt too. For the fiscal 2024 year they apparently made a loss of 148 million dollars though (sorry the source listed dollars).

Bottom line, honestly who knows...but on one hand they're saying they have to lay off hundreds of people, kick season ticket holders out in favour of rich tourists, putting up the prices anywhere they can and the other hand they're making a ton of revenue so somewhere along the line things aren't adding up.

My point on the PSR/FFP of it all is really it's absurd that you'll see clubs kneecapped in the transfer market, and even if they're doing well in the league they have to sell to stay in line with financial fair play....then you have Man United doing what they're doing and year after year throwing around money and huge contracts same as ever and that's where the "fair play" aspect feels entirely phony. It's just a set of rules that favour certain clubs with these other revenue streams.

Just found this which probably is a better summary:

I think cunha and mbuemo are terrible buys for United.

I’m throwing a tenner on them to go down next season.
