Always thought that City are very insistent on the wage coverage and loan fees with their out of favour players.
I feel they take the attitude that they can afford it so it's up to us to bend and be willing to pay over the odds.
Hope I'm wrong but this just feels like one of those that won't happen.

I wonder if the wages posturing is because they really just want to sell him ? I wonder if there is world where he’d be sold for a reasonable price and he’d take the wage cut? Probably not

Not sure it is the Dibster, as he also tweeted this.

Simon Stone was being interviewed this morning and he said that it's the owners pushing for Grealish and Moyes would prefer another striker. He didn't say that Moyes didn't want him, just that the owners see this as a marquee signing for the new era.
Stone was in the US with United the last few weeks and said he spoke to Moyes a lot during this time.

Bookies have this a done deal. 2/7 best price to be at Everton by window's end.
We absolutely definitely do not want to be picking up all his wages though. Hopefully it's just historic trauma that's causing me to consider that possibility.

Suggests Moyes isn’t having Barry.
I reckon the hipster signings (Barry, Aznou, Dibling) are all absolutely down to the transfer committee.

Yeah let's not do that please, there's enough negativity around these parts most of the time without mad conspiracy theories kicking in too

We need to not do a Moise Kean with Barry, expecting him to come in and slot 20 goals. Beto will be our starter for the season, hopefully Barry can contribute some big moments off the bench and play well in matches where he gets a start.

Feels like there's not any rumours about Grealish to anyone else, Inter or Bayern etc... there's still time of course, but at the moment we seem to be pretty much the only option, so hopefully that makes a deal more likely as City will be forced to compromise or have a £300k a week player sitting in the reserves.

Red flag on the ownership this.
Feel like there’s already a disconnect forming between moyes at the rest of the recruitment team.
