He always performed well for Leeds and England, and he was just a bit unfortunate with the City move in that he has one of the best (if not the best) players in the world in his position ahead of him in Rodri.

Not sure what happened to him at West Ham. Perhaps they didn’t really need him either, and so he never really got a chance to get fit enough. Moyes likes to play the same team week in week out and if he doesn’t quite trust you, then it’s game over.
Got himself sent off didn’t he, that was after giving away the ball that led to goals in previous matches? Or something similar. I’m sure DM didn’t appreciate that.

He'd be a good loan signing, only if we got the Leeds version.
But he does seem to have gone a bit Danny Drinkwater after his big move.

Again it's the terms really isn't it. How much of his wages would we be paying.

Wasted a loan on Danjuma last season, may as well waste another one here.

Can't help feeling this is the new owners actually understanding how to run a football club even though they're not officially through the door yet.

Can't imagine us gaming PSR and getting signings sorted early if Moshiri was still calling the shots.

I don't think we should go near this deal. Even if it's a success in the short term it would be too expensive to make permanent.

It allowing us to kick the can down the road for another summer is fine.

Yeah he’s gone missing since the Euros started - like the rest of England’s midfield.
