Think that’s a financial decision, not a sporting one.

If we just sent injured players back and told the parent club "over to you" we'd find it difficult to get loans in the future from that particular club. We have to accept our share of the risk.

I would've thought Chelsea would've wanted him back presuming they're confident in their backroom staff setup.
Why would you entrust another club (that really has no stake anymore in his long term recovery) with such an expensive asset? Unless they just don't care.
I'm sure we're still doing right by him to the best of our abilities, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me that they wouldn't want to oversee it themselves.

I assume whoever has the player pays his wages, that was my point.

Yeah, we’re on the hook for his £100k p/w for the rest of the season, regardless. I’m not sure it’s even Chelsea being dicks about it. They’ll have factored-in his wages being off the books, per PSR, this season.

Only we could make a deal that one sided. Could we tap up Roma for a few loans seeing as our daddy is their daddy

Samuel Dahl is a left back, reportedly Roma are willing to loan him out, could he worth a shout.

Everton are showing an interest in Sparta Prague Midfielder, Angelo Preciado this month.
A bid has already been rejected by an unarmed English club for 26 year old Ecuadorian. Brentford and Fenerbache are also interested

Almost convinced we've been linked with him in the past.

Presumably "unarmed" rules out the Gunners and Hammers.
Liverpool too, the weapons.

Wasn’t entirely one sided, they were paying his wages up to his first appearance on the bench.

Not a priority given we only have one possible loan opening, DM and striker first priority.

You’re right, was thinking about the Chelsea situation. Given how close we are sailing to the wind with PSR though I would still maintain that LB isn’t a priority.
