I'm also hearing we won't hear the actual punishment until April.

I guess we'll find out soon enough but it does only seem to be Ornstein that's reporting it, no one else seems to be running with it. Not saying he doesn't know things but it seems a bit strange that no one else is onto it. Didn't Thelwell also say recently that we were compliant with FFP for the period Ornstein is saying we'll be charged for?

Roll on tomorrow!

Also Ornstein himself said that we should be fine this time around about a month ago.

Either he's been leaked the info, or he's looking for a bit of headline grabbing on a Sunday.

The language he uses ''Everton are expecting to be referred'' is ambiguous enough for him to worm his way out of it on Monday, if we're not charged. He'll just say ''I didn't say it was a definite, I said Everton were expecting it''.

In some senses it will almost be double jeopardy. It would partially be charging us twice for the same offence. Although it’s not over the same period, there could be one financial period in particular that would have caused both charges to be applied. Therefore should you be able to charge the club again for the same offence?

Exactly, and if he was leaked it he would have been more confident in his statement. Dyche has said we won’t know until we know which suggests it’s all just still rumour. Tomorrow never knows so best to turn off your mind relax and float down stream for the time being.

Any delay in punishment is just taking the piss. Having appeals after the season has ended is also ludicrous.

Making it up as they go along, and trying by all means necessary to have the final say. Their agenda is pretty clear.

Delaying the appeal decision does a disservice to us and the clubs around us when the clubs might adjust their decisions in the transfer market based on where they and other clubs are in the table.

If we are charged again, then we need to take all legal means at our disposal as a club and go after the Premier League, beyond that of the appeal. It would be a disgrace.

Completely agree. Will lose far much more money going down then lawyering up to the extent that City is.

Watch the independent commission reduce our point deduction to 5 points, then use that as a precedent for our infraction and give us another 5 point deduction. Meaning we end back up with a 10 point deduction.

I was going to say that this could become an annual thing like a birthday but it’s more like a quarterly event at the moment!

Wouldn't be surprised if they give us Forest's points deduction as well.
