Goalkeeper - second highest fee spent
Defender - third highest fee ever spent
Midfielder - third highest fee ever spent (though could be argued first with the add ons)

not bad for a side yet to ever spend money on a player
Poor souls scratching around to get £50m to throw at Bournemouth for Kerkez

Probably not the right place to put this but what do people make of Gyokeres?? Hes scored an amazing amount of goals in Portugal but I think it's been close to 20 penalties this season to help that

Watched him a couple of times when he was at Coventry and to be honest I thought he looked a bit shit. Standard championship striker who at best might plod along at 1 of the lesser Premier league sides. Not seen much of him since but I'd see him as a huge risk as a big money signing. He's pretty old too for someone who hasn't yet played in 1 of the elite leagues

Looks like Bournemouth have signed Kerkez’s replacement.

Leeds looking to sign Bijol for 17m - looks quite cheap at that price.

Didn't realise Norgaard was leaving Brentford for Arsenal. Only £15m for their captain. Next season is going to be some test of the model for them.

Kind of hoped we might have been interested.

Feels like they might be in deep trouble next season.

They've lost players like Watkins, Benrahma and Toney over the years and only gone upwards whilst I'm sure Thomas Frank lost like 7 of his first matches at the club or something stupid after plucking him out of nowhere and it worked out in the end.

They're a club who seem to know what they're doing, these situations do put them on a knife-edge though. Impossible to have an opinion on Andrews' credentials whilst they could still go and sign a few great replacements and be even better.

I think he’s pretty good.

Would’ve been a perfect signing for us leaving Coventry.

I think he’s now played his way into a bracket where he can only go to a big club and is almost certain to disappoint wherever that is.

I don’t think he’s Champions-League-regular-in-a-big-league good. Would be better served being on the best team in a smaller league or a Europa-quality team in a more competitive league.
