Would it be too much nostalgia to have Ferguson number 9 under David Moyes?

As much as I'd like us to sign a tall 20 year old high potential striker I just think this one would be waaaay too expensive for us and given his injury and lack of form since coming back from it far to much of a gamble.
I have no idea what Brighton would ask but you'd imagine £30m+ which we don't have and also need to buy about 8 players with what we do have in the summer to replace outgoings.
Might well go somewhere and do well but for us it seems like a total non starter.

Think he’ll go to his old boss at West Ham

Depressingly low activity in this thread.
Not just us, there's barely any movement happening. Feels like clubs really feel the PSR pinch when it comes to the January window.

Didn't he mainly wear number 10 under Moyes?

Goodison News with a very tenuous link to Hamza Igamane from Rangers.

The last striker we signed from Rangers in Jan wasn't bad
For about 6 months at least.

I was just thinking about this the other day - was Jelavic a good signing looking at his entire spell?
He was incredible in front of goal that first half-season but barely scored after that and didn’t offer much else in terms of all-around play.
It was money fairly spent given the era and our financial situation but he was quite a mediocre player overall.

Everton midfielder Orel Mangala has suffered serious knee ligament damage. Everton are now in dialogue with parent club Lyon due to the severity of the injury. Need a CM for definite now
